Where standard cartridges still make sense

Standard cartridges remain a good fit for low flow rates, small skids, and point-of-use polishing where a large housing would be oversized. They also offer a very wide range of media and ratings off the shelf.

Where high-flow elements win

For medium-to-high flow rates, high-flow elements reduce the number of parts you handle. One 6-inch element can carry the throughput of many small cartridges, which means:

  • Faster change-outs — fewer units to open, remove and reseat.
  • Smaller footprint — a single compact housing instead of a large multi-round vessel.
  • Fewer seal points — less chance of bypass through a poorly seated cartridge.
