Process & background

Reverse-osmosis and nanofiltration membranes foul rapidly if fed water with a high silt density index (SDI). A cartridge pre-filter removes fine particulate and colloids to protect the membranes and stabilise plant performance.

High-flow elements deliver the large flow of an RO train through few housings with low pressure drop, reducing footprint compared with racks of 2.5" cartridges.
