Process & background
Water-for-injection (WFI) and purified-water (PW) systems require tightly controlled, documented filtration. High-flow cartridge pre-filters protect downstream final and sterilising-grade filters by removing bulk particulate.
By carrying the system flow through fewer housings, high-flow pre-filters simplify the layout of pharmaceutical water skids and extend the life of the more costly final filters.
