Meltblown Media
Definition
A depth-filtration medium formed by blowing molten polymer into fine, randomly layered microfibers that trap particles throughout the media thickness.
Meltblown media capture contaminant across their full depth rather than only at the surface, giving high dirt-holding capacity and a graded pore structure that can be engineered from coarse outer to fine inner layers.
Because meltblown PP contains no binders, it is a clean, cost-effective choice for pre-filtration and general liquid clarification.
