R+F

Glass Fiber (GF) Filter Media

Definition

A high-efficiency, absolute-rated pleated medium made from fine borosilicate glass microfibers, used for demanding fine filtration.

Glass-fiber media achieve higher efficiency and finer absolute ratings than polypropylene at comparable flow, thanks to their fine, uniform fiber structure and high pleat density. They deliver high dirt-holding capacity and low ΔP.

GF elements excel in condensate polishing, amine and glycol filtration, and other applications where absolute-rated fine filtration is required at high flow.

Relevance for high-flow filtration

R+F glass-fiber high-flow elements provide absolute 1–25 µm grades for critical oil & gas and chemical polishing duties.
